Only $14.95, this product is amazing. Do yourself a favor and check it out. I've emailed them and they said they will have some demo presets and mp3s up shortly.Architecture NI Absynth Waveforms, is a collection of over 1,000 meticulously designed wavetables provided in Native Instruments Absynth (GLY) format. Wavetables are single cycle periodic waveforms that form the most fundamental building block of synthesis. They are the sound generators, and can be thought of as the oscillator of a classic analog synth, but they provide infinitely more variability in shape and spectrum. They are chiefly responsible for determining a given sound's primary timbre, or "tone color". This collection offers a huge variety of waveforms logically organized in categories such as: Additive, AM, Classic, FM, Formants, LoFi, Serial, and UHF.
The Architecture NI Absynth Waveforms collection, was developed largely outside Absynth itself using tools that allowed for a new level of detail and precision that was previously impossible.
Awsome New Product For Absynth Users

Thanks for the heads up! Interesting! So, are you using this collection already? If so, what's your experience? How exactly do you use GLY waveforms in Absynth in the 1st place? I own Absynth 2, but rarely use it. And it was ages since I read the manual.

looks very interesting,
tho I'd like to have little demoset of the waveforms to check em out.
makes more sense to me than mp3's.
I'd like to mail them, but I dont see a contact info on the page.

Great edoosx, please do! Pretty curious now. I think I'll start by learning what the heck GLY wavetables are as soon as I get home from work today...edoosx wrote:i just bought it! waiting for e-delivery. i'll post my impressions as soon as i can test it.

Instead of our drink'n play library we should maybe record some drunk football fans next Saturday
back to topic now
I don't own Absynth, and won't in the future, as I already spent too much for VSTis, but I only hear great things about it.

are these wavetables like a ppg ?- in which case they have an instant sale - don't ahve to sound like a ppg but just that things like velocity etc change which wave is played back
or are they single shot things which require me to map them - in which case no sale as I really cant be arsed - i have millions of samples already

I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

they are single cycle waveforms , that are loaded by an oscillator ...

Hey buddy! You well? Following the WC with interest I see. I do too, but mostly for the beer.Klemperer wrote:hi again, mate. Hope you're well, just about to listen to songs from your website!

I've owned Absynth for a while, but since I refuse to treat it as a preset synth (it deserves better) and fiddling with those millions of envelopes drives me nuts, I haven't used it much. Darn, it was expensive after all. I'm hoping this set of wavforms could open up some new interesting ways to use it and inspire me to learn it better.
