Without having the benefit of owning original EA products, I recently demo'd several of the RN versions.
The Frequal-izer seems a fairly transparent eq with a very good eq matching feature. I searched for the Roger Nichols presets--there are only 7 or 8 presets that were all very generic.
I am not sure if it's worth the $249, but the eq matching function was fairly impressive.

Really....what a waste of sperm and eggs this guy is....I'd like to speak to his father...if you're out there sir, you'd have been better off wacking into a towel than creating this product spoiling monster.

Truthfully, the Voxengo CurveEQ is 10 times better for matching curves. i.e. please give the Voxengo plugin a shot
It's also under $100 with serial number protection. I think that even if Firium costed the same as CurveEQ and had the same protection as Voxengo plugins, I'd still choose CurveEQ by far.Cheers

To be fair, Mac OS X versions were planned something like a year ago. 
But we are small developers - so we had to learn Mac OS X platform ourselves (which was a totally new platform to us) just a bit before making something worthy. Now we have a compiled VST plug-in running just fine on Mac OS X. Before going public with Mac OS X versions we also need to get Mac AU support working plus some other things.
