Hi everyone. Thanks for you interest.
Regarding download delivery: once the purchase is made, there is a download link directly on the last page of the checkout process following order confirmation. Please see here for full details and note that there is also a link to a screen shot example of this there.
http://www.galbanum.com/shop/shipping.php
Also if a customer misses this link, or intentionally wants to download later, he can log into the "my account" section of the store, and select to view all of the details of the last transaction. The download link will be found here also. Note that the download link will become inactive after ten days or after having been successfully downloaded.
Please let me know if there is any way I can make this more clear.
I will be at Remix Hotel in NYC Thurs-Sun, so I may not be as responsive as I am normally during the event. If anyone is in NYC-metro come check it out www.remixhotel.com.

A demo soundset of 10 waveforms would be an excellent idea.

I will be happy to do exactly that. It will likely be after Remix Hotel since it is now 2:00am on the east coast and I must tear down my system to bring to NYC tomorrow.
FYI: based on some initial feedback today, it seems like some systems may not like having 1057 menu items at the same time. For the time-being, I may recommend that smaller sets of this collection (such as the individual categories) be explored separately, or a couple at a time, instead of loading the entire contents of the "(ALL)" folder at the same time. I will discuss with some people from NI tomorrow during Remix Set-up. (Personally, I would love to see some kind of heirachical menu-system for loading Waveforms in Abysynth.)

I did find the link in the end. I think what confused me was that the order remains 'Pending' even when complete. Also the download line is very easy to miss. Please have big neon lights flashing "DOWNLOAD" for idiots like me

Well I bagged these last night and they are an absoloute treasure trove and the price is unbelievably generous....for me lots of beautiful resonant ambiences as well as a multitude of spatial tones, textures and FX from just a bit of minimal work using them in Absynth....I'm so pleased Galbanum have delivered these.....a great resource for any A3 head whatever your sonic disposition.

I agree with Motion, it is nice to have all of these different waveforms immediately available. Very well worth the money as starting points for sonic exploration.Motion wrote:Well I bagged these last night and they are an absoloute treasure trove and the price is unbelievably generous....for me lots of beautiful resonant ambiences as well as a multitude of spatial tones, textures and FX from just a bit of minimal work using them in Absynth....I'm so pleased Galbanum have delivered these.....a great resource for any A3 head whatever your sonic disposition.
My only complaint is that navigation is a bit cumbersome, but this is not the fault of Galbanum. I hope it will be possible in a later Absynth-release to access subfolders within the waves directory. Copying files back and forth gets a bit annoying.
Anyway, at 15 dollars this is a steal.

I was playing around with these today too and found it to be very useful for creating new sounds. but man the navigation grrr. oh well. For the price yes certainly worth it.

I did not get any email about download details after I ordered, but when I "logged in" and went back to check my order history from my order receipt email... the link was there for me to download. Try thatflametop wrote:Hmm, me too. Ordered this morning and no download details yet

Have looked at these a bit now that I downloaded them today. A great variety of wavforms you can utilize. keep in mind you are not purchasing "presets". I'm not that skilled at sound design in Absynth yet ... so this requires a bit of instrument tweaking to use these. So if you are not a seasoned Absynth sound designer, you might try taking an existing instrument you like and substuting in some of these waveforms in various places like in a patch or in a LFO.
Also, be sure to read the docs that come with this. Absynth is not very friendly with regards to loading these waveforms from any location. They have to be in a certain folder to get them. Again .... read the docs that come with this to avoid frustration.
Now I really wish Absynth would allow navigating to specific folders to to get the .gly file so I could leave them in their folders for organizational purposes.

I'll add to the positive statements... I got them yesterday, and they're well worth it.
There seems to be a limit on how many waves can be in the user folder- I tried dumping them in all at once, and while I could scroll through all the names, you couldn't load them after a certain point.
I'm submitting a feature request to Brian for user wave subfolders...
