Hello,

I've just landed myself a Mac Mini - I've never played with a Mac before, so I'm a little over overwrought, and would appreciate some advice.

Can anyone recommend anything (I've found one - kil2, which looks like it might do the trick, but I wondered what else is out there / others are using).

I searched this forum for OSX but I didn't notice much in the way of freeware VST Host apps.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Not free, but Bidule can host VSTs AUs and a lot more. Plus it's a Universal Binary.

Heh heh, you took your time! :)
Thanks [geekboy], I'll take a look at that...

No sweat, Dub.

Bidule is probably the closest thing on OSX to EnergyXT. You can use it standalone, or within another host. It does some pretty cool stuff.

Hm? VST to AU is as Analog to Digital? Or as Hardware vs Software?

Not free, but relatively cheap - if you like the step sequencer concept - take a look at Numerology.
