I seem to remember trying this out a while ago and it sounded very FMish and I couldn't get warm, 70s Rhodes-like sounds.
Is this still the case with the commercial release or can it compete with LoungeLizard etc....?

It's definitely FM'ish. But sometimes, this 80's style dx-rhodes thing can be useful
