What are the best new things? 512-point sinc interpolation,32-bit WAV support and the optimized Sytrus
And,of course - Easter eggs
I found a new easter egg.It was so well-hidden,I laughed when I found it.
You'll really feel the LOVE if you find it.
Eastern eggs? LOL

the 512 point sinc is the old 256 point sinc renamed
everyone else is telling the total # of points and I was telling the # of points on one side, so to compare things better it has been renamed. What's new is the (more realtime) 64point sinc. And its speed much improved.

As this is one big step in the right direction.
How it can do markers and all, a really neat and powerful addition ( no more need for external editors when I wanne tweak markers ).
It is so much better to lay down audioclips and arrange using reqions.
All we need now is audioclips crossfade
Good work ILTeam.

So,does that mean the new 64 is now actually "32 on one side"?tony tony chopper wrote:What's new is the (more realtime) 64point sinc. And its speed much improved.
That's even better than the "512" stuff
I noticed the improvement, now I can even run projects with 64-point playback enabled.
Is DirectWave optimized in the same way? (cause I noticed much better performance with the 64-point int. activated than in 6.08 )
There's only one thing not good with the whole 6.x series: It just hates VSTi made with SynthEdit, unlike 5.02 in which they ran smoothly..
Crashes with SuperWave P8 and freezes with Odo's synths.
Stuttering or huge lag with other SynthEdit synths on playback start and relocating.Especially when multiple instances of one plugin is used.
Great job,but if this major issue is fixed, then I can say Wonderful job,IL

And a time ruler under the waveform! But yes, it's an awesome bonus.TRN76 wrote:- Edison
