Obviously, we'd all like to buy it for $10
So how much should InspectorXL cost then?

Given that there's so much discussion about the price of InspectorXL with Roger selling it at $299 !!, and as EA never seemed to be able to work out how much it should cost themselves, what do you think its price should be?
Obviously, we'd all like to buy it for $10
, but realistically, what do you think its worth.

As longtime user, I can't decide. Obviously it's worth a bit, but due to certain limitations (like size of certain meters, my own RMS setups based on the K-System etc) I say not more than 150-175USD (remember, the original price was aimed at 210USD). 299USD with extra cost for a (faulty) PACE iLok system (40USD extra) is just too much.

Wow. I'm amazed that the largest group actually think its worth more than the $299 price tag. C'mon Roger... are you sure that wasn't you and seven of your mates?

For me it is a absolute great tool, use it very often and it is a great plus over the free inspector. I am not used to K-system metering, but all the other stuff in there gets used quite often. And it is a plugin, which is great - there are a few external tools (Spectra foo and Spectre for example) - spectrafoo more expensive and spectre less flexible, configurable. And they are both external tools, no plugins.
I love InspectorXL quite a bit.
