Brazil is great. You have to get the DVD. It has the happy studio version and the depressing and slightly obscure ending version.

Back on topic, I can't wait for the update.

Go watch it then. The movie is truly the greatest :) I'd also recommend a book "We" by Zamyatin, frankly, mother of all modern anti-utopias.

err... so what about fl studio 6.1? Is it good, any bugs? I'm currently on dial-up so cannot be bothered to download betas (and 6.08 is working ok here too).
i will rent it eventually :) just gotta find the time. i've got a yard sale going on now so i've got to run back and forth from pc to women in the yard moving big heavy objects into purchasers vehicles and doing other manly things.. kind of like a sheepdog with his flock of sheep i guess.

anyway, yes 6.1 is pretty good, no bugs for me yet. gonna try some of my old dashboard stuff tonight. the love filter is freaking awesome. signature gol quality man. the new cpu/ram meters are great.

I kinda wish they'd stop using such tiny text for certain things though, like the filter modes in Love Philter (pretty hard to read especially with the light text) and the CPU/RAM/POLY labels on the meters.

here's what I did....worked like a charm (but it will cost you 10-20 bux)...

go to the drugstore and buy some reading glasses :P

grymmjack,dialup is fine.It's only 50MB :)
Only 2-1/2 to 3 hours to download.
By the time you're working on a project,it should be done.

That's a pretty good idea. Well, ignoring that I have a pair and it makes no difference (what pair of glasses costs 20 bucks anyway?). But I shouldn't get lost in trivial details.

I don't know why anyone would use 6 pt. white-grey on light-grey text. Maybe it's just my crappy 17 in. monitor, but the text still looks a bit fuzzy until I go down to 800x600. I think using a darker font would've helped (like the CPU meter text - I don't like the aesthetics but at least I can read it).

Is a 100-inch HDTV plasma screen in the system requirements?

here we can buy non-prescription reading glasses that come in different strengths...they have a little chart and you try to read it...you pick the pair that let's you read it best...the last pair I got (but I'm thinking it might be time for another step) was 12 usd, half glasses, so I can peer over them... :)

Support for 16bit integer/32bit float/mono/stereo samples inside FL, Fruity Granulizer & Fruity Slicer.

I know this sounds awfully lame, but does this mean better audio quality whilst using FL slicer ?

and if this is the case now, exactly what was FL using previously ?

Indeed, one of the 5 greatest films ever made.
Also, get thx1138 while you're at it.
