So true! Except that it's not a IR Reverb... but, doesen't matter, does it?

Good thing too (esp. for live use) is the nice licence policy. No dongle and you can use it on as much machines, as you want.

The guy who created SIR from what I understand did some work on the product, but most of it from what I understand was done by the people at Wizoo.

Ah, nice. Thanks for the info. That's cool he got some work from the development, though.

After I replied to this tread I did a search on Wizoo and found out they were acquired by Avid/Digidesign last year. I didn't know that, either.

TL Audio [they make another convolution verb, TL Space] were also acquired by Digidesign. No more vst version.

It's free (donations appreciated), fully functional and half the latency of SIR. If you want the 23 ms latency version then you need to buy a license.

Either way, it's somewhat less expensive than most mentioned up to now.

Trillium Lane Labs is the company that developed TL Space (native version now included in the Music Producer bundle for ProTools LE/M-powered)

There was never a VST version of this plugin.

Also, please be sure to try Voxengo Pristine Space, latency can be adjusted right down to 0 samples and it works / sounds excellent.

btw, I have also been quite concerned about Wizooverb's future since Digidesign bought it out. I believe that Wizooverb is the best sounding VST reverb I have ever heard ... sounds as good as hardware to my ears.

Boogex is working in mono only.

SIR sounds gorgeous...but....
