how do i change the snapping increments as it seems it's set to 16th right now and i need it to be a bit smaller every once in a while.
and... is there a way i can have a grid in multitrack view, so i can better see where i'm dropping clips?

what's the problem?...you put the cursor where you want, you have mutiple choices of snap and just insert audio....when moving clips they will snap to the snap you choose when moving them horizontally...if you're move a clip from track to track, right click>lock in time. I believe CE had grid, but it was just more eyesores to clutter up the workspace....

I agree that we're better off without a visible grid. Once you have set your snapping rules, then the guide line that appears is plenty good enough imho.

there are multiple choices of snap, indeed, but not one where i van choose, 16th, 32nd, or even 128th which is not cool imo. and yeah, after playing with the demo for only a few hours i'm starting to get used to having no grid.
btw, anyone have a manual, or help file, since f1, or clicking help in the menu produces no result.

oh, well ok.
an not to create another thread i'll ask here:
i have an 8 bar loop selected (example) and when i move the left (or right) loop marker to select just a 2 bar loop audio is cutoff for a wee bit. is there anyweay i can avoid this?

Probably the best way is to open the loop in Edit View, delete the bits you don't want (snap to zero crossings to avoid a click) and save it under a different file name.even7 wrote:oh, well ok.

Remember that Audition is first and foremost a powerful audio editor, and use it in a way that will play to those strengths
