Um, I'm a'gonna bump this since my attempts at "pop" err on the side of "cyclone full of razorbacks" thus far. I'm working on it...

I seem to be living out the idea that repressed urges resurface more powerful than prior to their being denied.
I endeavor to finish at least one pop song this weekend!

I had to come back and listen to this to clear all the pop out of my noggin.NotTheCommonDose wrote:my mind fell out, where did it go to?

Damn, that's crunchy!
The levels are a bit slammed for me to listen to this often, but... man. Getting stuff that f**ked up while retaining some coherence is pretty difficult. Oh, and as I mentioned before, getting that Otto Von-esque crunchy sound is tricky too.

That's what I get for mixing on walkman headphones.
They don't even have that squishy material that makes your ears not hurt on em anymore.
I sure would like to hear this song coming out of even a regular old boombox
I don't know who Otto Von is but it's a fun name to say, though I get the pun in it. Is his music very fast like his namesake?

Otto von Schirach is a guy recording on Schematic Records. I'm not much into his music per se, but I think your style of processing is quite similar to that heard during his crazier moments.
Listen to the demo he made for Bram of DestroyFX's Crazy Ivan plug in and you'll see what I mean.
