The best one is your manual.

Not sure if there are any third party training videos for it, I don't think I've come across any, but then I'm not a DP user anyway.

How about the manual that came with it?

Not only does DP4 come with a very nice 900+ page manual, it ships with a very nice 122 page "Getting Started" manual that includes tutorials. IIWY, that's where I'd start.

it was given to me by a fellow musician because he moved to cubase.

will hunt for the manual.
If your friend has a license for DP, and transfers it over to you, you can contact MOTU and request a new manual for a small fee. Well worth it. DP's is one of the most comprehensive and best written manuals in the computer audio universe.

Also, DP's only "copy protection" is the printed manual. DP users tend to assume that someone posting online asking for help without the manual has obtained their copy illegitimately. Not saying that is the case here...just giving you a heads up regarding the conventional wisdom on this matter.

DP is a fantastic program, more substance than flash. If your friend can't find his manual, contact MOTU, and they'll help you out.
