At 20mb its way too large to download just for a silly trailer.. I'm kind of with jmh on this one.. with screenshot 'clips' and a bit of text info on a webpage would be a lot more obtainable..

Actually I think the trailer is bigger than the software itself..

actually I just checked.. 6.2 is around 35mb..

anyone have a simple screenshot of the new default gui?

Thats the second movie style trailer in a week - what a stupid way to advertise - I've seen a few banner ads recently that adopt a similar method - they go on and on with these stupid little hints and fake "dramatic" buildup and you have to sit through the whole thing just to see what they are even promoting - or just turn them off which I tend to do - I have no patience for this sort of crap. If this is a current fad then please get over it.

The reFX Nexus trailer was waaaaaaaaay better.

Anyways, aside from the silly little trailers, it's cool to see that version 7 is out. Hopefully it's as cool as FL Studio 6 & Reason.

OK, eXT is cool, Reaper is cool, Acid is cool, and whatever host is cool also, but nobody can discredit Orion's strength, the generators, the fx, the usability, the sound quality ...

I recall Richard saying the trailer was done by some Orion "fan", so it's not really official trailer. I said the same that it's a bit too big and not really informative so better off posting it in some forum rather than website. However it's OP7 for real. And OP7 is bigger than 35MB. And updated website is coming soon too.

Yeah, his name is Hans Zimmer.

Anyway it's a very good orchestral piece of music, I've found it very similar to the soundtrack of The Last Samurai (which I've recently seen.)
