my main machine has a gig of ram , just won this laptop a little while ago so ram for it is the next investment.Dude, really, get more RAM!
Are you using XP? To me, the difference between 512 and 1024 was like night and day already. Can't even imagine what using 256 would be like!

Hello,
Heard the:
http://ehasting.u40.infinology.com/mp3/ ... 20gone.mp3
Beautiful piano
Reminds of the ArtVista Virtual Grand.
Read a few posts and skimmed the others.
So what is it, how much is it and where can one buy it?
I may have missed the answers while skimming the posts.

Just want to say: 'I like your nicky'.BrufordRules wrote:Hi benjamind, benjamind wrote:Yeah. I'd love to see a decent piano VST for under $200. That would be nice. Imagine a realistic piano for under $200 that allows you to really play it. Can't beat that!
Have you try the SampleTekk pianos?
The Big One, Black Grand, White Grand... All of them are really amazing and under $200.
Check it out the demos at www.sampletekk.com
If you use K2 you can improve them with Konel's Sympathetic Resonance Scripts:
http://music.mezo.com/
PMI pianos are really cool too (Old Lady, The Emperor... also under $200)
Cheers!

Very impressive - considering the size of it (60MB?), and very little CPU/memory usage it seems.
Has a lot of dynamics and full of emotion.
No need to worry about setting up microphones and the noises associated with your room, etc. Can't wait to see it out in the shops.

have you read this thread? It's still in beta, no one knows the specs or the price yet! When it is released, I'm sure there will be a lot of talk about it.Fhangor wrote:And what is the name of this Piano VSTi? Where can I look at the specifications? How much will it cost?

The panning seems to change when the lower keys are not being played, in places some higher notes that were on the correct side (the right) start playing on the left.reflekshun wrote:Hey peoples,
First up have a listen to this:

It could be you are using a reverb or the samples are mapped wrong on those notes.
Or it could just be me experiencing an ear version of an optical illusion
Sounds good - nice long sustains creating tons of overtones, is the vsti set-up to make full use of damping? - difficult to tell from the demo.
Best regards,

frankly, this thread wasn't started by the developer. They're not ready to release any details until it's ready to be released. They won't release a beta, it will be the finished product.Fhangor wrote:I have read it. But all this is only rumour. I want them to get more specific... Maybe they can tell, when they will present the first beta, the first screenshots, and so on...

I just read through the posts and did not see an answer on this. I too am interested in the brand of reverb used on this recording - very nice!Trojan Badger wrote:Dude! Wow. Not too shabby. Like the piano sound - what is the reverb on it though? It adds a lot to the quality

Sorry I didn't answer this ages ago - the reverb used is Lexicon Pantheon (software). Not too sure if they're still selling this product though?
