Oooh, it comes with ToxicIII!? Orion Users, start heading over to the T3 website now to do a little ToxicIII Addon Shopping!arke wrote:multitrack recording, 45 effects, 12 tone generators, "individual configuration"
..
enhanced piano roll, new skin, Toxic 3, Toxic 2 as well, Analog Distortion AD-1 (looks like a boss DS-1 pedal), real time IR processor
overall, i gotta say the trailer was kindof a let down. If V7 is like BONES says, then the trailer doesn't give it justice.

At LAST... some workflow things for the piano roll...
"- Playlist and Pianoroll tools can be cycled with 'T'"
"- Quick Lassoo with Ctrl when using Pen tool"
"- Pianoroll notes can be set to display note names"
"- Mousewheel+CTRL in playlist and piano roll scrolls horizontally"
"- Quick-Select notes or bars by pressing CTRL (no need to switch to lassoo)"
Still no note slice function, but makes editing speedier in the piano roll.
"- Many stability issues fixed"
The reason I stopped using Orion. Looking forward to demoing 7.

Hi
Bummer ...I don't see Transport control via Midi keyboard on the list???
Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
PLEASE RICH!!! Please!
So many Midi keyboards now have these controls on them and i find them extremely useful. I am still waiting to hear word about this from Synapse.
Just going to purchase the update now anyways.

paul, could you perhaps use a control software to emulate a keypress upon pushing those buttons, or is it something different/not possible? i have a keyboard with them on it too -- play/pause/stop/prev(rew)/next(ff), but on mine i think i can customize to use keypresses.. it's a microsoft keyboard (digital media pro) that i bought when my other one broke recently. i like the keyboard, but haven't ever used those buttons myself yet.manytone wrote:Hi

hrmm.. *investigates*
hah. no you can't but there are certain functions that just send keypresses on mine. for instance the back/forward functions are alt+left arrow and right arrow, so you could fake it maybe if they have enough of those and you use a ms keyboard?

Hi grymmjack
I am talking about my M-Audio keyboard and it will send the midi signal into Orion from these buttons. Orion just needs to know how to interpret them. They really come in handy when you are practising your part and then can just reach up a few inches to the buttons and hit record when ready. I use this in Sonar all the time.
There is no way to do this at all right now in Orion from my investigations, yet so many midi controllers have the buttons nowadays.
From what i understand Orion would need to have an MMC mode (Like Sonar) or maybe even a right click the transport and get the usual assign to next controller option.
Cheers

Manytone beat me to it.
