It looks more clean. It's not too bright for me but the knobs could be a little more clear i think. Like, maybe more contrast.

My only disappointment with the plug is that Transvaal is such a nice guy and communicates freely with people.
You'd think something this advanced would live up to its namesake and just drop from some Papau New Guinean website and have no further communcation with the outside world except posting odd ascii art.

I have no idea what in the name of cock that this thing really 'does', but it sounds great for what it's doing. It can truly mangle the living feces out of anything and I'm always in awe of the results.
Perfect for putting in for a bit of a glitch before an entry into a Chorus structure... or to make music that'll drive your cat to suicide.

I assure you that I am currently in the throes of making a pop (well, the runagate version thereof) group that uses Lost Tech'd vox as a prime ingredient.
Oh, and Lost Tech drums.
And Lost Tech banjo.
You see the pattern?
Are you and _oswald stalking me into fsu fx posts?
Sweet!

Or the worst taste imaginable, depending on whether you're psycho or not.
Prior to starting this who pop thing I was going to make a series of demonstrations mp3s to show before and after techniques using fsu fx to get people interested in and teach them how to make the crazy sounds we make, to demystify the process, for EMC Radio. Atm I am too busy but I'd still like to do it sometime. Especially since I insist on trying to popularize the overlooked but genius plugins that I love around here.

Does FSU pop becomes poop ?
Runagate, isn't the challenge to FSU at a certain point, while maintaining the musicality rather than getting the craziest sounds ?
Then again, I know we're back to psychotic Vs sane considerations... a psycho will be scary to most, interesting to some.

Have you heard my music?
I don't think I'm the best to frame that debate.
You think runagate + fsu is hard to take
it's a lot worse when I have a sax or a bass clarinet
in my hands
Poop, I think, since my pet midget/music partner is always calling me "popito" which is Spanish for "little poop."

the human voice used not as a singing or speaking device but as a noise making unit, similar to a synthesizer, when combined with lost tech, produces some extremely intuitive interactiveness with your consciousness, creating a auditory feedback loop of sorts, because there is no latency on the plugin. use noise cancelling headphones so you cannot hear your own voice, and gurgle. your voice is no longer your own but a hybrid of what it once was and what lost technology adds to it. slowly increase the pitch of your screams until you cross the threashhold of lost tech's settings and you will create a brand new scream. lower the pitch of your voice to return to where you were. it's kind of like cybernetic enhancement for your vocals. it's like learning to speak again because at first it's utterly foreign, what's happening when you speak, but then once you play around more and traverse the new territory it becomes more and more intuitive, as you slowly learn what creating vocal vibrations at a certain frequency range will do. combine hands on control by assigning every parameter in lost tech to a midi knob, and you have even greater functionality. i will probably post some audio demos soon, but it probably would scare even most of the hardcorest FSU crew. some of the most bizarre shit i've ever encountered sonically. external instruments with lost tech are great, but combining your own mucous membrane's vibration, which modulates the air coming out of your lungs. practice fluctuating your internal resonant frequency while altering random (or not random) parameters. the more you use your voice and lost technology together, the more "controlled"(is it really control? or merely biomechanical mingling? i would say, 'the more mingled' it becomes, but people fixed to literary dogmas might not appriciate that!) becomes, and the more your brain will cognizantly integrate what is happening when you make very high pitched squeaking sounds and then very low pitched bellowing sounds and then gutterally scream as loud as you can, expelling all of your acoustical energy, acting as if your phonation systems were perminantly failing and this is your last auditory outburst.

my favorite tool to use alongside lost tech is a loopstation such as http://www.zonemobius.com/ . i use it with my fcb1010, and also use the fcb to switch lost tech presets, so i can build really really sprawling, epic compositions live, just with the voice and lost tech
you use loopstations at all?

I have been trying to understand liveslice
And I've been badgering dubbyah to drop some mp3s here for a long time now.
