where do I start in figuring out how to use midi this way, I read a little about dashboards but whats the best way to use hardware racks along with fruityloops?

to feed the rack w/ midi , from a piano roll , create a midi out channel insert ...
set the midi out channel insert out port to match the midi in port of your rack ...

something else ? ...

thanks for that info, so I guess I can do a midi out channel insert for as many parts multitimbral the synth is?
