Piano sounding thin? Try PSP Pianoverb from the people who make Vintage Warmer. Tuned-string reverberation, not the usual. Wreaks interesting changes upon other kinds of sounds too, not just pianos.

I'll agree with the recommendations here so far; they're nice plugs, and fantastic consiering they're free. I think GlaceVerb's the only one of them I've ever used in a track, though.

Funny, I was just about to mention that one. It gets overlooked 'cause it's kind of a strange one-trick pony but I've gotten some great sounds out of it, turning a Vaz Modular preset transforming it from a Musique Concrete bleep-bloop sound into a very convincing zither. When Pianoverb is called for, nothing else will do!Meffy wrote:Piano sounding thin? Try PSP Pianoverb...

Wusikstation CM is top notch for a freebie. You can't download it any where (I don't think), it is on the cover disk of Computer Music magazine each month.

I just hunted this down (god forbid there be a VST plugin I've never heard of!), and boy, what a weird reverb! Not sure what to make of it. The tails were pretty metallic-sounding, but it does make an awesome rushing sound at 100% size...markdeaton wrote:nbm studioverb... if you can find it. i think it skipped town.

Doesn't CamelPhatFree have only monophonic output. This seriously limits it's usage.
