I am here at work and looking for some things, and for some reason ended up at the site for FreeVerb Too, SinusWeb. But I never realized that they had several other plugs, like Golden Gate and TripleComp. There are a couple others there also.

They are shareware, with the restriction being that every now and then a screen will pop up to tell you it's shareware. But they are pretty cheap to buy. And they look very nice feature-wise.

Has anyone used these other plugs? They are not listed here at KVR, and I didn't even know they existed. I like FreeVerb Too, so I may try the others when I get home.

Any experiences here?

I got the golden gate after I couldn't find a replacement for Logic internal side-chainable gate, and apart from the prefilter (which can be easily replicated by slotting an eq/filter in before it) it's the perfect gate - IMHO of course.
haven't tried the others, but that MultiLens thing looks interesting..

I may try the gate also. It's such a simple concept, yet it's hard to find a really GOOD gate. Maybe I'll get it when I get home to try.

And the prices for this stuff is far from unreasonable.

I remember using multilens when it was free and loving it! I'm sure, even with it's age, it's worth the money. That was a really sweet effect. Did all kinds of wierd ambient filtering things to the signal. :) I don't know about the others though.

I liked Multilens a lot as well. Freeverbtoo has a tenuous place on my hard drive.

I still use PeakCompressor quite often. It's great when you need a cross between a maximizer and a compressor. By setting it up to do some light compression before the limiter can kick in gives some very transparent results. I use it on piano and sometimes on acoustic guitar. Sinus is a good guy. I've had many email chats with him over the years. He made a personal version of PeakCompressor for me back when I used Logic on the PC. I wish he were still actively working on these.
