N-Track hands down, which is what happens most of da time when trying to use it....We're sorry but N-Track must close, blah blah...notify Microsoft?....what for? Like they ever do anything except ask da same dumb question. Every update is a No date in my book...jus stopped using it even though I've owned it fer way too long.

It has been my experience that anyplace other than where you are at present is at the very least, somewhere else.

Spoiled, whining cry-babies. 
Imagine growing up in the early 1970's, when you had NO HOSTS -- that's right, you actually had to pay to record at a commercial studio because likely you couldn't afford even a small mixer and tape recorder. Which also means you had be able to play a musical instrument - at least well enough to get your songs down in the few takes you could afford.
Nowadays, EVERY HOST has more features than many of those 16 track studios had. Loops have taken the place of musical talent. The only differences between current DAWS are the bells and whistles, and workflow. In the 70's I would've killed for N-Track or Tracktion or Podium or ... (well, you get the picture).
Bottom line, with a decent PC, a $50 DAW app and some free VST plugs, you can create your own CD! You guys just don't appreciate how good you have it!!
Oh, the worst host... is ProTools. Why? Because it's the most expensive (which makes it the most overhyped).
All of the above was offered in the name of fun (if it pisses you off, flame the guy who felt so inspired to start this thread!).

I do agree that it is easy to make music, sure, but it's always been that way.
You can tell if the artist is new, because it's not just samples or loops that require skill, it's arrangement, experimentation, trying something new...
Talentless people remain talentless if they have no dedication and it's always going to be that way.
I understand that there will soon be algothrims that generate any type of track, but it will be dependant on the programmers parameters, and randomness is never really admired nor goes with human taste.
