Paul,

Hope you had a nice holiday.

I have Manystation, UBK and ManyGuitar - your stuff rocks.

I have Wusikstation v3 and I'm planning on upgrading my Manystation to v2. I just downloaded the V2 updates, but won't have time to install it till later this week. As far as you know will the upgrade affect my projects in Cakewalk's Sonar 5 or Project 5 that are using Manystation or ManyGuitar in existing tracks?

I've got UBK so I guess I need the v2 presets.

Regarding ManyGuitar, isn't it a separate VSTi? Is it getting an upgrade?

Best Regards,
...Steven

Thanks Steven
ManyStation Version 2 will replace version 1 and all your songs made with version 1 will load and work fine.

ManyGuitar is a separate VSTi and is a newer product than ManyStation so don't expect a big update too soon. We should be releasing a Minor update though once the Mac version is ready.

Tellfit - We will update ManyStation to the current wusik engine version soon. ManyStation is currently at ver 2.2.4 and once William has decided that the engine will stay at 2.2.8 then we will adopt it. We don't like to put our customers through too many updates unless it is majorly needed, so we wait untill the version is stable and proven and a long term release.

Thanks again guys.

Thanks for the info.
When I upgrade Manystation will UBK presets be updated as well?

Post

Hi
If you recently purchased UBK it comes with both versions of presets. The delivery mail has links for both ver1 and ver2 Wusik engine.
If you purchased UBK a while back you have to email me for the Version 2 UBK presets or use the convertor that comes with ManyStation version 2.
ManyStation ver 2 install has all the included over 700 presets converted for you but UBK is a separate product none of which is included in ManyStation so the presets for it are separate.
Thanks Again

Paul,

Got the UBK preset, thanks.

Ran the Manystation V2 udpate and when I load the patch: MT_02_ToTc_B&B "Who The Hell Is Lenny" I'm getting the error "Couldn't read the WusikPRST file!"

Just happened to be the 2nd patch I tried.
Its the only one in MT_01, MT_02 or MT_03 that has this problem (haven't had the time to check out the rest).

Hi
That was one we missed.
All you need to do is remove the space at the end from the preset name.
It is located in the Preset folder in your data folder. Wusik Engine 2 choked on preset names that had a space at the end. Yet wusik engine 1 loaded them.. We fixed the 2 we found before release but it appears you have found another. Once you delete the space the preset will load.
Thanks
