I really like IK products and have a fair amount of them, but goddamn. it's an ilok key. shipping should be about 50 cents. they've already confirmed i'm eligible for it. just slap it in a padded envelope and lets get this show on the road.

double arrrrrrrrrrr. definitely in the mood to see pirates of the carribean this weekend.

I got mine last week sometime. But I also ordered a t-shirt from Alternative Tentacles... arrived within 6 days.

IK are f**king piss poor.

Just guess what IKMM (or whomever you made the purchase through) would do if you'd not pay you for their stuff within 13 weeks. You'd already be in prison.

dammit Amberience!!! maybe mine is coming soon then.

Sascha, this is the free upgrade from AT1 to AT2. I technically paid for AT1 and got it and everything with AT2 (the download for the program and the the ikey) is free. so from a technical standpoint i'm waiting for something free. although the only reason i bought AT1 (for the second time) was to get the free upgrade which is a promotion IK pushed hard.

anyhow, i've dealt with IK customer service a number of times before and they were great. this is really the first bad experience i've had with them. it just happens to really suck since i REALLY want AT2.

I emailed once again and here's the response I got back from IK (yes the grammer is from the original email

):

"Your shipment been delayed due to the item running out of stock because of the massive response we received. This called a slight delay and you should receive your ikey shortly. We do apologize for this inconvenience. Your key will be sent once stock becomes available again.

Once again sorry for the delay.

I received the same e-mail as you, t-willy, on Thursday...without having to e-mail them first. I view myself as quite a patient fool...I mean fellow...especially when stuff costs me nothing, but....

The only reason I even went for Amplitube 1 is that the free upgrade would get me some phenomenal effects choices 'cause I really don't like having to deal with a dongle. Ah well...all I gotta say is I better not have any technical difficulties with the thing!
