Dash's Da Hornet.....
Is this free?
It says it is on the site but when I open as a VST it asks for registration.

Am I committing some dumb newbie blatantly obvious error that deserves public humiliation?

Please teach me a lesson!

Ya, it's hard to locate on their web site:

I downloaded the program and the password. I opened the program and when it asked for the password I pasted it into the proper area, but nothing happens. I tried hitting enter and/or esc but it never does anything. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Post

Make sure that you cut and pasted correctly. That's all I can think of,perhaps a space at the end of the cut? Try closing and re-opening Da Hornet? Hope this helps. :D

I got it to work for about 10 seconds and then it quit making any sound. The keys and knobs move, which I wasn't getting out of it before. Thanks for the advice. I don't know what I did different this time. Now I just have to troubleshoot the audio dropout. PS I'm a total n00b (as of today) and this was my first post, so I really am very grateful for the prompt help, and it did work. You rule!

Post

Welcome to KVR! Glad you got it registered at least. If you can't solve the dropout problem just post here again and we'll try to help. Include what Host software you're using as you get faster answers that way. Don't worry, we were all noobs at one time. :D
