Liveslice had the "map sample offset to MIDI" i was looking for. By now the best slicer for these my purposes.

I use Devine machine LSRfree to record the output of an effected loop ( thru dbglitch and cyanide , mda bandisto etc..... ). It catches " happy accidents " , and then i re-import the wav via slicer , and re-arrange the fragments , but your methods all sound good to me as well.
Always on the lookout for new methods !!

run your mixer out which carries your audio signal into a nice amp, preferbly a bass amp, then run the amp back into the soundcard. Preferbly the signal being your beat. Now, mash that up, hp filter it, layer with beat. Glitch some of the beat with the already mashed up hp'd beat and voila...sonic mayhem!

i don't think there is a technique for speeding up what is essentially a creative process ... you have to take the time to pick out the best stuff from your experimenting, whatever software you use ...

either that or just do it realtime, and call that a finished track

Treat the audio with any number of plugs. Dblue, Liveslice, etc. Bounce down in SX - use hitpoints to chop...then just keep pressing ctrl+b to bounce each part and then drag them into Kontakt. Takes no longer than 5mins!

the best way of making excelent glitch loops is using own ingeniousness. There is no rule for it.

So, a tracker is something like a simple retrostyle host?
There seems to be a whole community dealing with them.
It's a little confusing. Got to try it I guess.

Can anybody explain why a tracker is better for making glitches? I used one long time ago (fast tracker?)and i really cant see the point
