dam! just read the rules and submissions thread and noticed:

Give us a delightful concoction of two or more genres of music into a new hybrid style. Combine musics from different cultures or historic periods, or bring the signature instruments of one into an entirely contrary context.

so they have to be music genres? can't be literary ones or a combination of the two? my william burroughs meets spandau ballet idea is scuppered!
