Hi
As the title says it all, i'm looking for a 303-style step sequencer plugin, to quickly make acid basslines using any synth.
Does this exists ?
I tried Stepbeater, but it does does not have any "glide" or "accent" feature, and ROzzer Stepmachin was quite unstable in Live5...
Does anybody know such a stepseq that would do the trick ?
(I first thought i had to post this topic in the "instruments" forum, but as long as stepseq are listed into "efx", i post it here).

How about a host that you can run in or alongside live?
Like EnergyXT or FL Studio?

Stepper in Tobybear's Midibag is probably your best bet:

The best thing for what you are asking is an old standalone app that you route with a MIDI loopback driver called Seq-303. If you google it, you can easily find the demo version (which expires after 6 weeks or something) but Technotoys pulled up stakes a few years ago, so there is no way to register it anymore. Too bad really, I've never found another MIDI, non-piano roll, step sequencer as easy to use.
One thing with glide and accent via MIDI, the synth you use will need to be able to respond to that MIDI data for it to work (which I assume are velocity and portamento).

Thank you for your reply.
I thought Stepper was a synth, not only a sequencer...
I have tried Rozzer StepMachine into Reaper, and it works really fine. I can't make it work in Live, but having this into Reaper is already fine, and i will try to see if i can make it work inside Ext or Phrazor...
