Install Sampletank 2.1 sound-files ?

I have sampletank 2.0 then I've downloaded the 2.1 update. Now I've ordered the 2.1 sound files and I'm not sure how to proceed. Do I need to delete the original 2.0 sound files or will they be updated with the install of the 2.1 dvd discs?

The 2.1 library is different to the 2.0 library. You can have both installed at once. First, copy the 2.0 sounds into their own folder, so that this:
SampleTank Instruments/Bass
SampleTank Instruments/Drums
SampleTank Instruments/Pianos
etc...
becomes this:
SampleTank Instruments/2.0/Bass
SampleTank Instruments/2.0/Drums
SampleTank Instruments/2.0/Pianos
etc...

Next, (when you get your 2.1 discs) install the 2.1 library like this:
SampleTank Instruments/2.1/Bass
SampleTank Instruments/2.1/Drums
SampleTank Instruments/2.1/Pianos
etc...

Make sure you hit "Relist" the next time you open the plugin.

That way your older projects that use the 2.0 library will still load, but you can start using the newer library right away. Eventually you can remove the older 2.0 library (this will make the plugin load faster).
