these are cool, man thanks.
I've been looking for birimbao samples for while.

Are you a percusionist? if you are, do you play Batai drums? I'm looking for good samples of these. I have loops that I've sliced but they are way below the quality I' looking for.

thanx again.

Here is a bank for DK+, you need to download the samples from the original link.
The mapping is as close to the Battery kit as possible.
Glad you dig them Branis! And much thanks for sharing your dk+ kit!!
I've added it to the original zip. 8)

That's awesome Liqih!!!

I'd like to hear how you tweaked the samples, will the demo of dk+ load this?

I'll add the kit to the zip when I have a chance...maybe this evening...

While not exactly what you asked for, here is a tracktion groove file for the pandeiro in eigth notes (right click-save as):

It sounds wonky if you play it slow, but when played fast it gives a nice samba groove. 8)

BTW, it should work for the triangles as well, but I haven't tried to confirm it.

I'm mostly interested in what you did with the pitch and filters. :hyper:

I'm working on a song using your Brazilian kit.
This is the work-up that I've made in developing the sounds I'm going to use, so it should be interesting to see how it eventually evolves but it does show off the kit's sounds:

And the first one pulls in...8)

Can't wait to listen to it when I get home! :)

Awesome Liqih!!!!!
I played with the first one yesterday and it was awesome!
I can't wait to try this one!
Also, I created my own DK pattern bank and filled up the whole thing.

I'll post it tonight or tomorrow. :)

I made a soundfont version of these samples and posted them at sf2midi.com as Freeztar Brazilian Kit. I just mapped the samples across the keyboard and put velocity splits on the samples that had two velocities. Enjoy.
