Hi!
If someone in the forum knows, please tell me!!
I'm looking for a very harsh distortion (any type) for apply to voices, if you have heard Hocico, that's what I wish.
Because I have no enough space at home for keep big hardware pieces...
What i'm exactly loooking is a fuzz/tube disto which be able to enlarge the sound duration with a fuzz coil but without convert my lyrics into a weird noise.
If you know something that fits with this, let me know, you'll be regarded with all my love...

Try MDA BandDisto, it s multi-band distortion which lets you home in on the right frequencies to get the sound you need. Alternatively, try my killerGATE+, it has decent distortion as well as a filter and some other handy stuff. I mostly use the distortion effects that come with ORION, especially the new AD-1 which is about the best quality [?] distortion I've used.

Head over to Fretted Synth Audio's website and check out their distortion plugs....they've got some sick shit over there.

Izotopes Trash is great, if you're not looking for a guitar amp sim (I know, people think it's good for that, but I've just never found it appealing for guitar). CubaseSX/Nuendo have some of the best distortion plugins, IMO, built right into the DAW.

There are also several listed here at the KVR database...I'm pretty sure there is a distortion category for effects...try a search.

Izotope Trash and Ohmforce Predatohm. The two most versatile distortions for any source. Both can sound very... err *harsh* but have the controls to tame exactly how harsh.

I've tried MDA bandisto before and it works good for me, but you must render and reprocess in order to obtain a very dirty sound, in fact, I have many presets made for me, if someone...
Now I will download KillerGATE+ and Isotope. I'm sure they will fix my problem while Ohmicide arrives.
I Don't know if someone has tried distortion with the Slayer's FX plugin called Slayer_FX.dll (I think...)Mixed with vocoders, sounds great.
Oh, before I forget,I'm making a kind of clipper which seems to be useful, if the sound is good and anybody needs it I will publish the plug.

It's probably my lack of knowledge on the subject, but why would you need to render before you apply it again? Why not just have two instances of of Bandisto after eachother?
And since it's a sound i'm interested in as well, i'd like to hear the clipper you;re working on
