...you need this...trust me...well, ok, you don't have to trust me but you won't believe your ears, either...
M42 ambient makes me think of words like bigger, more full, deeper, more moving...just when you thought M42 was exactly that you load M42 ambient and you're reaching down to the floor to lift your jaw back up and maybe stop drooling... :D

Tim,

I am going to buy ambient for M42. How do I get the 2.0 files for ambient and for any 3rd party M42 products?

[EDIT] - Zvon sent me the Julia for M42 v2 banks

What else is available for M42? I figure I might as well complete my M42 collection. Do you have a list of other 3rd party soundfonts or products for the M42?

Hi Mike

Glad to hear this ( of course)
If you get it, it already has been converted to ver 2, so no need to get a converted file. Previous M42 Ambient owners have been sent the converted file as well.

so far, as far as we know, ZVON has been the only one providing 3rd party support.

His M42 soundfonts page:
http://www.lesproductionszvon.com/Zvon_ ... Nebula.htm

although we would welcome any others that want to do this.

Another noted fact is that you can load any other of the free SF2's found on the net into M42, although you are limited to 5 banks of 4 samples.( due to the SF2 SE module limitation)

Thanks for the KUDOS on the M42 Ambient bank. It was a huge project for me, but greatly expands the M42 pallette.

Tim,

Already bought all of them from Zvon. Thanks for the URL anyway.

Funny you should say that. I am planning to create my own line of M42 custom presets and samples. I assume soundfont is it. Is this okay with you? Do you have a web page where you advertise 3rd party packages?

Let me know. In the meantime, I am buying it now.

Tim, can I pay via Paypal? I rather pay that way than shareit. Is this possible?

Oooh....that makes me want to make a T3 soundfont/preset addon. Hmm....whaddya think tim? Maybe for August...after the Sytrus set gets out there?

ToTc: Anything even thought of by you and the T3 team is exceptional - that I have no doubt.

Uh Oh bobsled - MORE TOWELS, QUICK!!!

Thanx Mike :D Appreciate the support. :D

Yeah, I don't know...I might have to do some "real" sound design and make an SF2 library...then I'll see if I can get the boys to split the preset work so we can make it a T3 release. :)

Peace

I have a really cool idea for a M42 AND Wusik sample set (and maybe even Rhino 2 if I can learn it fast enough), heck, maybe even for Mesa+ ADD, too.

The name will be called Spiral. Think moving, evolving pads, loops and arps/tempo synced effects. The sound set will encompess plucked, string, brass, bass, woodwind and human vocal samples.

What do you think?

Mike
