now it works:

Hovmod: Mixes sadness with sadness, deep sadness......most contemplative track in this contest and I can't imagine a more contemplative one(only Knockman could do it with his incredible voice, maybe). This is complete dissolution. Summertime without friends, without hope. Most intensive song here: A great one, but dangerous! Hovmod, you're one of these flexible guys here: Every month something completely different.

Well, Mello, I hope you found back to your cheerful self after this exercise in depression...
Thanks for the review, and I suppose the word 'flexible' isn't as bad as some others one might choose to describe my condition. :hihi:
I like composers, who are flexible, the most, people, who have the courage to explore unknown or new territory. :)

Will check them out!! Found via search a song by him called "veggie man" and that is really funny because I did a radioplay 'bout veggies :hihi:
Last month George Harrison, this month Syd?
Next month John Scofield! (just kidding)

Yeah, that's pretty magical. I found myself thinking of Frank Zappa -- always a good thing IMHO -- for both production and ribaldry reasons. I have this dirndls/ lederhosen/dreadlocks/Howard Stern/banana vision thang going on...and it ain't pretty...

This month' contest is a difficult one for voters. Most of the entries are on one high-quality level. They need time for being discovered: Not so many hits in the sense of a 'single' (this the secret hush-channel), but very nice gems that will last.

Jonny Quest: I was in a special record store, looking for some new progressive-psychedelic-rock and this Nick Hornby told me: "Listen to this, Joanna!" I bought it immediately: Spiritual Homogenic Mountain Gem with suitable vocals....Que rico!

1-2-Many: Blowing Homogenic Desert Gem with an absolutely stunning beginning! You've mixed the ingredients so bloody well together.....the journalists will call it: arabossaR'n'Bee: Hats off!

Scoops???? Ooh ScooooOOOOOoooops?????

I think Scoops needs help with his Satriani leads.

Next month John Scofield! (just kidding)
Oooooh yes! I have spent ages trying to get a backing track of Sco's "Techno" done - but I always muck up the drum track - it's impossible for me to emulate Omar Hakim's hihat work with a midi keyboard even using BFD Jazz & Funk kits. It's a fun tune to play though. I suggest we have a month devoted to Scofield. Seriously!

I was thinking this month of attempting a Reggae version of the Mike Stern tune "Little Shoes". but I chickened out because I couldn't scratch up the time or the nerve to do it right. It also didn't help that I actually don't like Reggae very much. :(
