Zvon,
Since I have all of your M42 3rd party add-ons, do you have the updates for V2? I already received the Julia update, but the horns and the other one I have not.
Thanks.
Mike

Hi Mike,
The Horn M42 and the Machines M42 still do not have any presets at all, v1 or v2. Note that you can use them with any existing presets and have instant variations.

By the way,
How do you make a soundfont with MULTIPLE BANKS? I can make soundfonts with 1 bank, but I have no soundfont compatible sound card that can take advantage of Vienna Sound font studio or Alive!
What software do you use?

I use Vsampler 3.

Vsampler looks full featured, but a bit pricey at just under $200.
It seems to only output sf2 and it's own format. Not a problem for me since I have translators that can go from sf2 -> whatever.
Is it really THAT good? My only other choice I can see is by imageline. They have Beat Creator and seamless looper. However, I have had problems with their software (FL Studio) crashing on me and not opening up - which is happening right now - I literally cannot use it. I also don't know if Beat Creator or any of their software can take multiple samples and create one multibank soundfont out of it. I assume Vsampler 3 can do this?
I assume you can record custom samples or load pre-recorded wav files, etc, into vsampler and output multibank soundfont files?
Thanks for your help and advice.

It is very good and I could not live without it.
You cannot directly record in it but it can load any wav file and it can output multibank soundfont. All my sample sets start their life in Vsampler. Note that even if Vsampler has very powerful tools to create loop points, these are not exported in sf2. For soundfonts, the loop points have to be written directly in the wave file. Which you can also do with Vsampler but I prefer to do it in Sound Forge and then use this edited wave in Vsampler.Karmacomposer wrote: I assume you can record custom samples or load pre-recorded wav files, etc, into vsampler and output multibank soundfont files?

I also use sound forge for looping, although this other software I am looking at does auto looping, which I kinda like. Sometimes I cannot find the right loop point for a sustaining patch. That part is an art.
Do you know of any other software that makes multibank soundfonts?

It is the trickiest part.Karmacomposer wrote:Sometimes I cannot find the right loop point for a sustaining patch. That part is an art.
I'm not sure but I have the impression that Awave does it.Karmacomposer wrote:Do you know of any other software that makes multibank soundfonts?
True for me.M'Snah wrote:But most people who have VSampler, don't need to look for other options.

My hardware does not allow for soundfont playback. I bought vsampler and am loving it!!!
