Ok. Never place credibility in any of my posts again. Anyway, why do my feature requests seem that strange?

Quite easily, actually. Does every peice of music you listen to have 64 or less sounds?

And if i had hardware, i would bounce things down to submixes, and that's one of the wonderful advantages of software- i don't have to.

And autosave i would think is a pretty standard feature. It doesn't happen often but occasionally a peice of software will crash my host, and that's when autosave is a godsend :)

Some plugins do not have option for save your patches in fxb or fxp and you must save it in fruity loops score format, making compatibility and preset sharing a little complicated.

i want multi-timbral support.
for the person who will say (inevitably) what the hell would you need that for?

Delta 3 and Shortcircuit to name two off the top of my head. At least for shortcircuit it makes a lot of sense. for Delta 3, i suppose it would just be kind of nice, but not necessary.
RM3 could be nice with multitimbral support too.

also would really really really like to be able to assign midi plugins as "internal controllers". If they ever implement that, i will personally fly to belgium and kiss gol on the lips.
or not, depending on what would be more condusive to it being implemented.

Z3R0T0N1N: I thought FL had 2 different forms of multi-timbral support?

If by multi-timbral you mean the ability to control up to 16 different instruments from 1 plugin via MIDI channels you can:

1. Use the different coloured notes on the Piano Roll. Each of the 16 notes corresponds to a different MIDI channel (1-16).

2. Use MIDI Out Generators (up to 16). Point them to the same PORT as the multi-timbral plugin. Each channel gets it's own Piano Roll etc.

Or am I misunderstanding the request?

Oh, and for the record I'd like FL Studio to rethink how it recieves Modulation Wheel data. Despite looking at the online info and forums, I can't seem to find a way to get the currently selected channel to receive Modulation Wheel data.

If I link CC1 for that channel to a Controller, that works. However, when I do the same on another channel the previous one no longer accepts CC1 and has to be set up again.

One simple thing. I realy can't believe that this isn't supported even today. Because you can find this feature in other programs too(out of DAW area). Place note in piano roll or put pattern in playlist. Try to resize note by dragging note to right out of visible area. Screen should scroll and follow your cursor but it wont. Same is for selecting. What if you have some notes out of visible area? You select that visible and by holding down mouse button you want to scroll to that notes. But you cant in FL. Every single other host can do that. This should be enabled for playlist too. And this can speed workflow by some degree. I will post same on Looptalk.

Of course you can always zoom out but that way you have few steps more.

When linking CC1 check the Omni mode and you're set. :)

I want a direct connection between Midicontroller and VSTs. Not this workaround over Midiout. So I can use my modulation wheel in all VST. Would be really a help... :)

The thing that would improve workflow for me , would be the ability to change the look of FL.
The interface saps the imagination when you've been usin it for a couple of years , and i think there should be developments made in how to change the look of it cosmetically.
Personally , i'd like a chrome-look interface.
I'm content with everything else it does.

*edit ----- a free lapdance when a hit tune is made would be a nice touch

Aha! Thankyou. :)

pitch bend and mod wheel should passthrough no matter what like all other hosts.

period.
check my profile for contact info.
msn messenger is my email as well.

Not in my FLStudio obviously. Pitchbend works, but not mod wheel (CC#1). Have always to link it via Midiout.
