The interface saps the imagination when you've been usin it for a couple of years , and i think there should be developments made in how to change the look of it cosmetically.
Personally , i'd like a chrome-look interface.
I'm content with everything else it does.

*edit ----- a free lapdance when a hit tune is made would be a nice touch
well, you can skin FLS... You didn't know that???

you know what's missing in FL...no pain in the ass protection schemes making recovering from a crash a nightmare...thankfully I have other software that is a pita to make up for it...how dare they make it so simple :x :hihi:

(Fwiw the biggest pain is NI B4II right now)

how are you people using more than 64 channels? What would you do with hardware?
Roland XV-5080 - 32 Channels
Roland Fantom 76 - 16 Channels
Yamaha Motif ES6 - 16 Channels
Emu XL-7 - 32 Channels
Emu Proteus 2500 - 32 Channels
Virus Classic - 16 Channels
Novation KSR - 4 Channels
Korg Karma - 16 Channels
Korg Wavestation SR - 16 Channels

It is really easy for me to get past 16 channels in hardware. Look at the hardware setups for a lot of composers. Even those in Electronic music. Racks full of Tritons and XV-5080's along with a few Virus' and other sound sources.

But then, in software, I don't go that far. It is hard for a computer to process 64 channels of recorded audio, much less VSTi's or mangled samples runing through effects. I guess for that reason I don't consider the 64 channel limit in FL to be a problem.
All I need to be happy is one more VSTi.

I miss cryptic manuals. Those online video tutorials take the challenge out of learning the program. :D

How about delay compensation, that would be fantastic. The fact that its been promised and missing for about 2 solid versions. Can't use my SIR, Elephant, Waves C1-SC, and anything that has delay.

Support to render at higher sample rates w/out changing the whole project to it (IE Cubase type things). FL sounds pretty fantastic with 256 sync rate @ 88.1 but its a MAJOr pain to render out stuff....

Use of the mouse scroll wheel would be very intuitive as well...

My mouse scroll wheel works perfect in FL Studio

how many of those have that many audio outs? Because that's one way to look at channels in FL...not just midi channels :)

show what sequencer channels are routed to a single mixer channel.
Isn't this possible by pressing alt+s (or alt solo)? Or what do you mean?
kmonkey wrote:Place note in piano roll or put pattern in playlist. Try to resize note by dragging note to right out of visible area. Screen should scroll and follow your cursor but it wont. Same is for selecting. What if you have some notes out of visible area? You select that visible and by holding down mouse button you want to scroll to that notes. But you cant in FL.
If I understood correctly, you can get around this problem by using the keyboard, the arrow keys allow you to move the area that's visible. But yeah, it would be great if you could also do this with the mouse.

The ablity/option to trigger/play the Slicer via a Midi channel (As I would a synth).. I think this is fatal flaw.. I know I can route via rewire or loop back midi but then I get innacurate timing for some reason.. http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=143293

Also when you simultaniously export multiple tracks to separate wav files (export wave file > split mixer tracks) you should have an option to save the slice markers their corresponding wav's (triggers from channels) instead of all slice markers to all wav files THIS REALLY SUCKS... THESE 2 KILL MY WORKFLOW IN FL..
