How is VSS3 compared to CSR. Does VSS3 do good plate reverbs? Is this realy 1:1 port from system 6000? At TC site you can find that you can even convert presets from hardware system 6000 to poco version. But then i saw that some people claim that this is stupid to believe because that way TC is shooting itself (by giving system 6000 algo so cheap)and they are not that stupid. But then again to run VSS3 you have to buy PCI card or FireWire solution so it is not so cheap anymore.Maybe someone can enlight me. With some examples or something.

Can someone post at least some summary TXT from Sound on Sound review? I found that VSS3 is exactly same as M3000 which is pretty good. There is also DVR2 reverb for poco which can emulate EMT250.

I think, VSS3 in System6000 is identically with VSS3 on Poco. They are not stupid at TC, because on 6000, there is also the VSS4, a much more high end reverb, which also can do 5.1.
The difference between VSS3 and VSS4 is comparable to the difference from CSR and 480L...
VSS3 compared to CSR is difficult, because it's just another world. You can do plate-like reverbs with VSS3, as you can do with CSR. I found VSS3 more colorful with a certain character, sometimes a bit metallic on drums, but always fitting in the mix. You have to like it or not. CSR sounds more lush, neutral, pleasant, but sometimes a bit inconspicuously, what isn't always the thing one might be searching for.
