Looking at buying a drum sampler.

Any one got any opinions at whats on the market. I use cubase sx3. Outputs are important to me. I like to be able to send kick, snare, hats, pedal etc to seperate outs.

Battery 2 and Lin Plus RM IV are my 2 choices atm.

Comments/help/ideas/opinions welcome...

cheers in advance people...

Sean.

Have you demo'd anything yet? Might wanna do that first. Opinions are a dime a dozen. If outputs are your only concern then look for the cheapest sampler with multiple outs. I think DK+ has multiple outs (not sure... I bought it but only messed with it once).

Ahem

You might like to consider Layer Drum that has just arrived in my SynthStudio Pack. It's a sample playing drum module with 4 outs and up to 8 samples per hit.

It's very affordable (and comes with a swag of synths and fx) and can do a couple of unusual things.

Am demoing 2 i mentioned and have used LM 2. I want something with at least 10 mono outs. Battery has 16 I think. Not sure what else I should take into consideration, thats why I have posted, to see what other people consider important.

Decided on RM IV by Lin Plug, has 18 outs. Excellant response to my email requests and questions.
