Ahoy there! I read about Live Slice from the aphex interview and I'm very much impressed with this app.
I do happen to be a bit of a drum nutter to some degree, and I was curious... what if I needed more then 24 arrangements of 64 beat loops?
Cheers

there are two things i can think of immediately: use another instance or use slices triggering and program beats in a normal midi-part.
@parris: welcome to kvr and especially the livelab forum.
just one hint - most people don't like when others write only caps as this looks like they are screaming
no offense meant, just trying to help you around here.

Ahoy
actually I have plans on expanding the number of available arrangements. Possibly the duration of arrangements will be expanded as well, when I add horizontal zoom in the arranger.

Haha yeah. Hey ohm you should mention that aphex twin (while slagging off ableton live's time strecth) reccommended liveslice "Nice Try. I don't use it. I find the Liveslice VST is better, another program for that kind of thing." actually I bet you got a big sales boost from that FM interview. Its an interesting program, Ill consider getting it when I have extra cash. (I remember being very impressed with the Buzz version!)

yeah, I read that interview. Amazing to get that kind of feedback from a musician of his caliber.
I mean, he basically invented the style of music I had in mind while designing LiveSlice

Well then that really was a particularly special compliment to you from a personal perspective!ohm wrote:yeah, I read that interview. Amazing to get that kind of feedback from a musician of his caliber.

You must be absolutely stoked!
I've only ever heard of Aphex Twin. I really don't know his music at all. The only example I've ever experienced was a slightly disturbing film clip. It was actually quite a cool film clip - but I can't remember the music at all. Consequently I'm guessing he's not big on catchy melodies.
