Added a film clip (AVI) I shot of the John Scofield Trio playing Hammock Soliloquy from the 2004 Malta Jazz Festival. Some of you might enjoy this. Absolutely watchable quality, outstanding performances, great solos. Love the drummer (Stewart - not the Police one).
John Scofield -- Hammock Soliloquy
BTW - I couldn't find Movie or Film clip or any other suitable category, so I put MUSIC.

Hmm... you didn't find a category because no movies have been accepted yet, but I'll let it go and see what koolkeys thinks of it.
Nevertheless, thanks a lot for uploading.

Hmmm, movies. That's a good question. I'm not sure what the legalities are on this. Was it a large venue where you had tickets and such? Or what were the performance conditions on this?
I'm not seeing the movie there, as the site log shows that you took it down. I'm not against movies, but we have to be careful. Most ticketed events have rules on the tickets that state there is to be no reproduction or taping. So that's what I would need to know, is the conditions of the show. If you could let me know that, I would be grateful.

Well, I couldn't get the torrent to work anyway. So there's another thing I learned this week: I don't know how to upload torrents.koolkeys wrote:Hmmm, movies. That's a good question. AFAIK the Malta Jazz Festival didn't have anything about no cameras, I was there for three days straight (with tickets of course) with my Canon out for anyone to see and seize, but nobody complained. There were many cameras. I don't have the ticket or anything anymore, so I can't check, so if you think it's dodgy or inappropriate I won't bother to try uploading it again.

Yeah, there's been many requests, but currently the original seeder has gone, and he didn't seed for very long so I couldn't get it.laputa_sync wrote:would be sweet for FPC-TRN_Access_VirusTI_01 to have a seed!!!

If anyone did download this, they could start up the seeding... I'll PM anyone who managed to snatch it.

Thank you, but I did all that (I followed the upload description, and your video didn't have any new elements that revealed my error), but I still got an error. Azureus had a notice about some PID in the Tracker Status column, which I couln't work out, and although I downloaded the torrent file from Sampletorrent, I got the same error again.
When I then went to SampleTorrent, it said that my file needed Seeders.
I tried to delete the whole thing to start over, but it wasn't that simple. I don't have the authority to delete it, apparently.

You do have the authority, just go into "Edit account" at the top, and then you'll get the list of torrents you've submitted, you can then click "delete" on the right column.
As for your problem, delete any old torrents you have created. For uTorrent, you're best off doing a search for .Torrent and looking for any old ones that uTorrent may use.
For Azureus, you can install that, then follow the flash tutorial and simply try it with that, if both don't work then it is a router/connection issue.
Checklist:
- sp1/2 firewall
- additional firewalls on your system
- router firewall (port fowarding)

I'm using SP2 firewall, and traffic both ways has always worked in Azureus and Bittornado (when I was using that). Is there a difference between torrents I create myself and torrents I've downloaded? Because there's always traffic out for the ones I've downloaded, which suggests to me I don't have a firewall problem. There IS a red dot in Azureus for Firewall, but I assumed as long as there is traffic both ways it's not a problem.
Sorry to make this thread about my problems. I'll try to sort it out on my own.

Just because you can download doesn't mean you still don't have a connection problem.. Does it ever upload when downloading?
Delete any torrents which relate to the torrent you're uploading here (p.s. replace your username with the "YOUR USER NAME" section.)
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Azureus\torrents

Yes, Once you've uploaded the torrent, you'll need to delete any traces of the old torrent that azureus crates (as shown in the movie tutorial). You'll then need to download the torrent (using the Disk icon whilst in the torrents section) at the Sample Torrents site.Is there a difference between torrents I create myself and torrents I've downloaded?
