i've been using it since i read the first post in this thread and, well, I dont think i have ever in my life been this well equiped and happy. first the chordspace playa, and now this...my mixes sound EXACTLY as they should. it is freakish that i can finally do what i've needed to be able to do [mix with headphones] for so long.
I am very nomadic. i never really stay anyplace long enough to set up a proper studio setup. its usually just me and my laptop with my sennheiser HD-25's. and although these phones are phenominal, they are still headphones and my mixes have always suffered because of it. but the stuff i've been doing for the last couple of weeks has needed MUCH LESS post processing than anything else i've ever tried to mix down. HIGHLY recommended!

I've been using it most of today to give it a good run. I'd have to say it's a more subtle effect than Externalizer but similar in nature. While much like externalizer it doesn't have the side-effects of other headphone processors, externalizer is still undoubtedly more pleasing.

Externalizer, eh? I seem to recall that thing just sounding too damn weird...I'll have to try it again. I'm pretty pleased with HDPHX so far. Subtle but good results.
