Based on the modulating system of the acclaimed M42 Nebula VSTi, the M51 offers Phase
Modulation, Virtual Analog and FM to create a unique blend of crisp, warm and metallic
timbres. Inspired by the M51 Whirlpool Galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici.
"A galaxy of sound to explore."

- Two 8 Stage Graphic Envelopes (AMP and MOD) with save and load file functions.
- LFO (BPM synced) with an unique Arpeggiator.
- Pulsar (BPM synced, creates the algorithmic element).
- Easy to operate 3 * 5 Modulation Matrix

FX:
- Stereo Chorus/Flanger.

Anyone try the demo?
We have totally redone the default presets and re-arranged them, so its a much better set. Also , if you get the full version, we now have a new bank of prests done by 3 sound designers from KvR:Emdot , Steve of SampleBytes, and ToTc of Pro-Sounds
with new Warp and Envelope files by ToTc.

If you have not had the joy of being able to record your own gestrures inside an X-Y feild, now is your chance. Quite fun..and you can do it for 2 of them, as there is a warp for each synth.

as we said on the m42 thread..the main diff between M42 and M51 is that M51 is all synthesis and not samples..plus custom modules. But the RYMS, SEQ, Totems and pads sound different in a fresh way. Its worth trying the demo to hear for yourself!

I think the first preset just melts you! I am glad we redid the factory bank.

Yeah..we were working on this at the same time as the M42 update. Thats why things took so long!

Any demos of the new sounds? I have sooooo many synths already - but I am looking for any sonic reason to buy this.

I had downloaded version 1 of this and was very impressed (on the verge of purchase actually).
But then I noticed this thread concerning v1.1, so I downloaded the demo right away.

The original version gave me no problems with cpu usage but the new version runs right to the roof anytime the Warp feature is loaded.

Really, too bad. I hope this can be remedied soon, especially if others are experiencing a similar problem.

Tim, please fix!

Here ya go Mike:

Arp1 (just holding down one key, then moving to the next...M51 does all the sequencing)

Atmosphere1 (just holding down 1 key the whole time...M51 re-triggers the note)

Bass1

Bass2

Bass3

Lead1

Pad1

Obviously, the real presets have less institutionalized names. :P Just feeling lazy right now. :)

enjoy!
