Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah there is not much new in it. Just a plain blues guitar with a huge symphony string section. I think Barclay James Harvest first did it early 70's. My guitar hero BB King did it many times in the 70's and 80's, and is probably still doing it.mellotronaut wrote: Sepheritoh: Nostalgia pure...nothing new, but what a feeling in this song....70s with 70s with 70s. Melancholic and charming heartwarmer. suuper lekker!

I was thinking it was time to show a sexy photo of myself, but there's already enough trouble in the world, so I'll keep it to a link to the first "egg" a layed...
It's the first of my "real" songs, I've finished. Somehow it's a therapeutical song : it puts a smile on your face.
I've parked it at The Auditorium : http://the-auditorium.net/viewtopic.php?t=4656
Get a laugh,
Max el Freaky... .. .

Blast.
BTW, Scoops, nice job with Spain. I love Chick. But I think the electric band has more sweeping going on in the gambale style of late. Mike Miller is cool too. That said, you two (guitar jeff and yourself) had a lot to live up to.
I would love to see a contest dedicated to John Coltrane. Any takers?
Thanks for the comps.
If at any time you ever want to do a collab on a Jazz piece, give me a holla.

I have a really fast computer, some good mics, vintage musical instruments, and lots of fancy software. Just need some talent

About all I have to offer is what I've posted here at KVR.xander wrote:Really like to hear some of your jazz Scoops

I made a living at doing the lounge lizzard thing in the 70's. The gig usually consisited of doing stuff outta the Real Book. But when the 80's came along, had to make some ka-ching, So I got a real job, and did the wedding band thing on the weekends. Never did get back to doing jazz until just recently. It's like a lost world found again.

I like jazz alot. I was just jamming to your tune last night Scoops and it's just making me that much better as a player.
There is a certain mindframe that jazz puts one into regardless of what intrsument they play.
Once my chops get better i too would love to collab on a jazz song.
When i say "better chops", what i mean is, i *hear* things in my head, and all i do is keep playing it over and over until i can play exactly what i hear.
Needles to say, that can be challenging.
