I think if it's offered as a VST, I'd like the original waves with it too in an extra folder for my NN-XT experiements and for Audio tracks. That would help me move fast and be able to apply offline effects to the sounds fast, chop them up any way I want, sync to picture etc.tee boy wrote: ready to go out of the box.
though its looking as though it will be a VST for starters, should be cool)

Yeah, Im with you on that score. Hate having the files imbedded and not having access to them.Mr. Tunes wrote:I think if it's offered as a VST, I'd like the original waves with it too in an extra folder for my NN-XT experiements and for Audio tracks. The company Im working with wants to do it initially as a VST, but may later release other versions.
On the up side, there are no multisamples, so if you re-record any of the sounds at C3, you'll get the file in its original form. But I will have a chat with the company, see if we can arrange something, as I too prefer it that way.
To be honest, I still like the old sample CD format as I hardly use samples for FX sounds and stuff. But these new players are pretty cool though! Apparently we might be having a brandspanking new player for this product, so fingercrossed there!

Well if it's a good player then the upside of it for everyone is we can get more patches built by you and the team and not have the library take up more room using just preset files. I would just prefer both and thought i'd asktee boy wrote: But these new players are pretty cool though!
