Well, I'm afraid this doesn't prove much, as the files are so different (the levels for instance).
What software/hardware did you use?

Who said i was trying to prove anything? I made two mixes and wanted to know which one people liked. This is the problem with this forum, i ASK a question and everybody accuses me of trying to prove something. Guess i'm scared away forever.

I wasnt aware that 1 person saying that this doesnt prove much constituted "everyone" accusing you... from his post it sounded more like he worded it incorrectly as opposed to "accusing" you. Relax man, it was one post.

Let me rephrase this: I don't see the point in a comparison like this, since at the very least (RMS)levels should be roughly the same. Your files sound like totally different processing took place. Of course, to really compare anything it's madatory to use settings as closly matched as possible. Apart from that, neither of the two sounds finished in regards to todays standarts.
But I'm still interested in the tools you used...

kvr really is one of the best places when it comes to having real fun.
