I know that my sound card introduces a bit of latency, but when adding on AT2 or the Ampeg sim, how much more will it increase. Say I start with 2 milliseconds....
Will this delay need to be compensated for or is it so minor not to cause a problem?
I am concerned with using them to record in real-time. If I compensated with playing a bit quicker to make up for the delay and then my host plays back with the compensation... seems that it could be a problem....
thanks

My understanding is that your actual latency won't increase. What will happen is that the FX will add strain to your CPU which, in the extreme, could cause you to have glitching issues. But if your rig is powerful enough to handle it, you may not even notice.
