I'm trying to organize better my sample library on my HD, and i think i have many samples sounding nearly the same.

I would like to get rid of those "twin" samples, so I'm looking for a program that could identify similar sounds, not from their name, but from their audio properties (duration, spectral properties, wave shape or whatever, etc.).

Does such a program exist ?

Or do you know a technique to avoid having 2 samples sounding the same, even if one is called "DD230-04", and the other "BD11" ??
