good luck :( fl is great, hope you get it working.
Even if that doesn't help it really helps audio processing of any sort to use a freeware app that does basically this...

Can't recall the name, I think it's from Sysinfo.com I'll try to track it down. Something about managing bus queues or the like.

What was your method, Grymm?

grymmjack wrote:well no i dont think your disk is dying. what happens when you adjust your sample buffer length to something less severe -- try say 1024 or 512? you may need to exit flstudio, adjust in your asio control these buffers, then restart flstudio. (i have to do this as my delta wont let anything adjust this value while the asio is open)...
Nothing happens. I said that already. Changing the buffer size doesn't help one bit unfortunately. Also, yesterday and the day before (whenever I released Journeys, too) I used my Hyper Canvas and it worked fine (VSTs still had that volume problem, but DXis were okay,) and it exported perfectly fine.
voxengo recorder is free, as is tobybears recorder(prefer that over voxengos) and tapeit 1 is free too i think, or has a demo of tapeit2 (tapeit is the best imo). anyway, try that stuff. i've seen on looptalk threads where gol was telling people 'you expect flstudio to perform with a (3ms 137sample buffer)' (your values or whatever here) ... so it may be worth it to try?
Oh, cool! I'll look for Voxengo recorder. What exacly do I need to do with it? :?:

Hey, I used Voxengo recorder, and it recorded fine. Everything's in time. What does that mean?

Not sure if I should post a demo or not... everything's perfect when I use it.

well, it means that the problem you are encountering is relevant only to the export stuff going on in fl, and isn't general to your sound card, or other hardware outside of rendering process.

so you have one work around; use the recorder instead of render, this is horrible work around, but could be ok for a short while until imageline helps you further?

gol just posted in another thread here. his handle on kvr is tonytonychopper.. PM him perhaps? might be still around on his computer putzing about on KVR?

Hehe, happy early birthday! Mine was the 17th. I turned 19. :D

oh yeah, ildon, if gol asks, and he may, you can tell him my stuff was setup with defaults of hq and not touching the vst wrapper in fl, as well as i did not turn on smartdisable for the karmafx reverb. i literally inserted edirol hq hypercanvas, added 8th notes via piano roll, rendered, then added karma fx reverb with large hall preset and rendered again.

good luck man! they'll get you sorted i hope.
