Hey guys,

Does anyone know what kind of electric guitar is used on Britney Spears track "Toxic", and what type of effects it is being put through? ( It kicks in around 1:10 in the song).

I love that sound. I have a lot of electric guitar samples ( even sorted by brand and type ). I started going through them but it's going to take a very long time..

So, all you guitar experts, if you could guide me in the right direction, that would be really cool.. I love this sound. It has a James Bondish kind of feel...

I have sampletank2XL, Sonic Reality's Guitar Collection, Electric Guitar Capsule, and Sonik Synth 2.. it's got to be in there somewhere... I just don't know where to start looking..

Sounds like a surf-guitar sound ... lots of spring reverb and tremolo. Start there.

It's a typical surf guitar tone....although, a pretty deep one. Any good surf tone requires a fender.
