does anyone know of an effect that allows you to automate between presets of other vst synths or effects?

sometimes i come up with some cool effects rapidly flicking between to or three presets and I think it would be nice to have more control over this kind of thing

you can send program change messages to farbrausch's V2 to change presets.. as for automating preset changes, I don't know of any other synths that does this..

I was trying to make this last week.

It turns out that it'snot a great first-time SynhEdit project.

I have a plugin made in Synthedit that can send MIDI program change messages. Not all (and probably not many even) plugins respond to program change messages, though.

I was thinking more along the lines of an x-y vector thing or an lfo that'd amble between 2 chosen midi cc ranges. Seems straightforward, but then I'm not so bright. I lose a lot of time staring at shiny things. I'd really like to stik that fractal cc generator into a CC glide morpher, too, but it's on the "once I'm competent at something" list, so gimme a decade.

how about makeing a drum machine where you put one sound in any sound a cat meowing and it gets converted into 8 seperate things kick snare tom hats etc, each drum set sound weird and unique

that's what audio editors are for.. :?: the fun part is to create those sounds yourself, eh? ..but maybe you'd like randomax as well, it randomizes your kits with the click of a button..

random max looks good, audio editors aren't really my thing it would take me ages to make a drum kit from one of my farts, much easier to put fart in machine and let it make drum kit:} drum kit from fart sound different than drum kit from cat using drum kits = fun part for me
