I can tell you now actually. I have used the full version of Samplitude and FL studio (I still have versions of both) so I would say if you are more into pattern sequencing then maybe Samplitude SE might be a bit different for you, if you are used to ACID pro then Samplitude I would say is closer to ACID than FL for sure.

CM 103 has a 8 pages of tutorials to get anyone unfamiliar with Samplitude up an running. Frnakly it's very simple to use anyway.
Excellent. I use fls for nothing other than making loops/midi patterns anyway, i abhore how that program works overall (and i'm not slating it fl users, i'm just saying for me it's all too fidgety, trackers too, they're scary  .)

I'm looking forward to this one too!
It turns out to be more efficient anyway, to work in 32-bit words, than to try to work in units of data that are smaller than the machine word.

Now that's a nice freebie! Too bad I have to wait three weeks till it arrives here in the US. If anyone sees it sooner then that, let me know.

According to the information in CM, you can register this version from a different, net connected computer...haven't tested it to see how true it is, but it would seem that Magix may have taken the complaints on-board from when it came with Keys magazine.

Now that would be good news.
Could somebody please confirm who already installed the CM version ?

Is this out to the general public in the US yet.

went searching yesterday, but no luck.

I checked today on my way to work, just to "be sure" as I was getting my Frappaccino, and it wasn't there yet.

It's alright. I just bought EXT and Jamstix, so maybe it's good that I wait also.

susiwong.., xylyx is right.

I have the mag here as I type and there are 7 detailed steps to take so you cannot go wrong if the steps are followed. So it *is* possible to register it using another PC.

Of course it's much quicker if you have an Internet connection on the same PC as the Samplitude installation of course. But what you ask is indeed possible.

I get the feeling that CM wanted to detail the alternative method of registration in their mag in advance of a boat load of questions about it, as many do not have an Internet connection on the DAW or Music dedicated PC.

The details are at the bottom of page 117 of CM103. It's looking like a collectors item already. :hihi: I would not be surprised if it sold out.

I'm scared that there aren't gonna be any copies that make it to the US. :(
