Hi i'd like to have a feature to normalize recordings and in general every file loaded in the slicer (even an "auto-normalize" button)
and would be nice to have volume per slice goes until +20 db..when you need to deal with very low volume slices

I like the idea, and normalizing is very straight forward to implement so I won't keep you waiting too long 
Increasing the volume range means decreasing the accuracy so I'm not too keen about that one - with a normalize feature you woudln't need it as badly right? I could add a "normalize slice" feature though, might be fun and could even be useful. What do you think?

havin' normalize at both levels....per slice and per file loaded or recorded
